South Windsor, CT (October 8, 2025) – Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a serious crash on Tuesday afternoon, October 7, after a pickup truck and a car collided at the intersection of Sullivan Avenue and Rye Street.
According to the South Windsor Fire Department, the crash happened around 12:14 p.m. Firefighters and paramedics quickly responded to the scene to assist both drivers. Medical personnel treated the injured individuals before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities closed portions of the road, reducing traffic to one lane in each direction while first responders worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause.
