Hartford, CT (November 11, 2025) – A person riding a scooter was injured on Monday, November 10, after being struck by a Jeep in Hartford. The crash occurred around 5:26 p.m. in the area of 281 Locust Street, according to the Hartford Fire Department.
Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene and found the rider suffering from injuries. Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance before transporting the individual to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities said the collision occurred when the Jeep turned into a business entrance and hit the scooter traveling nearby. The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with responding officers. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The Hartford Police Department is continuing to investigate what led to the collision. Traffic flow in the area returned to normal shortly after the scene was cleared.
