Wethersfield, CT (December 15, 2025) – A deadly wrong-way crash claimed the life of a woman in Wethersfield after a head-on collision on Route 15. The crash occurred north of Exit 58 and involved two vehicles traveling in opposite directions in the southbound lanes.
According to the Connecticut State Police, one vehicle was traveling southbound on Route 15 when a second vehicle entered the roadway going the wrong direction. The second car traveled northbound in the southbound lanes, creating a dangerous situation that ended in a head-on crash.

State police identified the wrong-way driver as a 30-year-old woman from Manchester. She suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead following the crash.
