Injury Three-Car Crash on School St Near Prestige Park Rd

East Hartford, CT (November 26, 2025) – Police responded to a three-car crash on School Street near Prestige Park Road early Wednesday morning, November 26. Officers arrived around 7:20 a.m. after dispatch received reports of a serious collision in the area.

When crews reached the scene, they found three vehicles damaged along the roadway. One of the cars had rolled over from the impact. The rollover left the driver trapped inside. Firefighters worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle and remove the occupant safely. After crews freed the driver, paramedics provided care on site.

One person suffered injuries and needed hospital treatment. Ambulance crews transported that victim for further evaluation. Officials have not released the person’s name or shared details about their condition.

Police have also not explained what caused the crash or how the three vehicles collided. School Street was closed for a short time while first responders helped the injured and officers inspected the scene. The road reopened after crews cleared vehicles and gathered evidence.

The investigation remains open as the East Hartford Police continue to investigate the crash.

We hope the injured person recovers fully and without complications.

Rollover Accidents in Connecticut

Car accidents that involve a rollover often cause more harm than a standard two-car impact. When a vehicle flips, the body can slam into doors, windows, and seat belts with intense force. A rollover also increases the risk of head trauma, spinal damage, and internal injuries. Even when the injuries look minor at first, pain and stiffness may grow in the hours that follow.

Three car crashes add another layer of danger. More vehicles mean more points of impact, and people may get hit from different angles in seconds. On narrow roads or early morning routes, drivers may not have enough time to react after the first impact. A chain reaction can happen fast.

In crashes like this, victims may face:

  • Neck and back injuries from the sudden snap of a collision or rollover.
  • Head injuries, including concussions, can occur even if the person stays awake.
  • Broken bones in the ribs, arms, or legs from direct impact.
  • Chest or abdominal injuries from seat belt force or steering wheel contact.
  • Deep bruising and soft tissue damage that may take weeks to heal.

After a rollover, doctors often recommend follow-up care, since some injuries do not show up right away. Medical records also help clarify the full impact of the crash if an injury claim becomes necessary.

If another driver caused the wreck, the injured person may have the right to seek compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and pain that affects daily life. Insurance companies may try to settle quickly, especially when the crash scene is cleared and the road reopens.

Still, early offers often fail to account for future treatment, therapy, or time away from work. A car accident lawyer can collect evidence, review reports, and handle talks with insurers so victims do not carry that burden while they heal.
