East Hartford, CT (May 8, 2026) – A multi-car crash with reported injuries occurred Thursday, May 7, on Route 2 Westbound between Exits 1D and 1A in East Hartford at approximately 9:38 a.m. The East Hartford Fire and emergency units responded to the scene as multiple vehicles were involved in the accident.
Responders found several cars involved in the collision. Three left lanes of Route 2 Westbound were closed as emergency personnel worked at the scene. The extent and severity of injuries have not been released.
