Norwich, CT – Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on West Thames St

Norwich, CT (April 9, 2026) – A woman lost her life after a crash on Thursday morning, April 9, in Norwich. The accident happened around 8:17 a.m. in the 700 block of West Thames Street.

Departamento de Policía de Norwich reported that the woman’s vehicle and a heavy-duty wrecker collided head-on. Emergency units responded to the scene and began assisting shortly after the crash occurred.

Paramedics evaluated the woman at the scene, but she died from her injuries. Authorities have not released her identity at this time.
