Newington, CT (November 27, 2025) –<\/b> Police and fire crews responded to a serious three-car crash on Wednesday evening in Newington. The collision happened around 7:44 p.m. on Fenn Street near Eagle Drive. A fire official said two people became trapped inside the vehicles after the impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Firefighters arrived quickly and worked to free both victims. Crews used special tools to remove the people from the damaged cars. Paramedics then carried them to waiting ambulances. All injured people went to the hospital for treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Newington Police Department<\/span><\/a> later reported that five people went to the hospital after the crash. Officers did not say how severe the injuries were. They also did not release the ages or identities of anyone involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Investigators shut down the area near the intersection while they examined the scene. Police called in the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad to help determine how the crash happened.<\/span><\/p>\n
