Griswold, CT (April 5, 2026) \u2013<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0A motorcycle crash killed one person and left another seriously injured on Saturday, April 4, at the intersection of Stone Hill Road and Roode Road in Griswold.<\/p>\n

A pickup truck and a motorcycle collided at the intersection around 4:30 p.m. The motorcycle operator and his passenger were thrown from the bike and came to rest in the center of the intersection.<\/p>\n

Emergency units responded to the scene and requested a LifeStar helicopter, with a landing zone set up at a baseball field near Hopeville Pond State Park. CPR was performed on the motorcycle operator during transport.<\/p>\n

The motorcycle operator, Nathan Musto, 35, was taken to Plainfield Backus Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His passenger was transported to Backus Hospital with suspected serious injuries.<\/p>\n

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured and declined medical attention at the scene.<\/p>\n

Authorities<\/u><\/a>\u00a0continue to investigate the crash and urge anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
