Salem, CT (June 22, 2026) \u2013 <\/b>Route 354 was shut down after a three-vehicle wreck near Witter Road Sunday evening, June 21. Emergency units were called just after 7:00 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle wreck on Old Colchester Road. Once on scene, the first officer confirmed three vehicles were involved with heavy damage.<\/span><\/p>\n

All occupants had gotten themselves out of the vehicles before responders arrived. Two patients were taken to Backus Hospital in Norwich for treatment. A third person involved chose not to be taken to the hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Polic\u00eda Estatal de Connecticut<\/span><\/a> responded to assist at the scene. The roadway reopened by 8:08 p.m. once the wreck was cleared.<\/span><\/p>\n
