Connecticut Car Accidents
Navigating Connecticut’s highways and local roads is part of everyday life, but with that constant traffic comes the unfortunate risk of serious car accidents. Each year, thousands of drivers, passengers, and pedestrians across the state are injured in collisions—whether on major interstates like I-95 and I-84, rural routes, or neighborhood intersections. For victims and their families, the aftermath can be devastating.
In an instant, a crash can turn life upside down. Survivors may be left with painful injuries, lengthy recoveries, and overwhelming medical bills. Time away from work and the stress of dealing with insurance companies only add to the burden. Sadly, many of these accidents are preventable, often caused by negligent or reckless driving, including:
- Distracted Driving – Looking at a phone, GPS, or even losing focus for a few seconds can cause a life-changing collision.
- Driving Under the Influence – Alcohol and drugs continue to be major contributors to crashes in Connecticut.
- Speeding and Reckless Driving – Excessive speed, tailgating, and aggressive maneuvers often lead to severe injuries.
- Disregarding Traffic Laws – Running red lights, failing to yield, or ignoring stop signs frequently results in serious accidents.
