Rocky Hill, CT (June 23, 2026) – On Monday afternoon, June 22, two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision near the Interstate 91 ramps on West Street. The Rocky Hill Fire Department said that as a result, two people were injured.
The crash happened just after 2:00 p.m., when two vehicles collided head-on near the highway ramps. Emergency units closed off the area with traffic cones to keep the scene safe while they worked.
Responders stabilized both vehicles and addressed the fluid that had leaked from them. Two people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. West Street reopened to traffic just before 3:00 p.m. once the vehicles were cleared.
No other motorists or emergency personnel were hurt. The investigation into what led to the wreck is still unfolding.
