New London, CT (October 17, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Thursday morning, October 16, to a two-car collision at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Willetts Avenue in New London.
According to dispatch reports from area fire departments, including New London, Waterford, and East Lyme, the crash left at least two people injured. Some occupants remained inside their vehicles as first responders arrived to provide immediate medical care. Paramedics treated the victims at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for additional evaluation.
Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the collision or the conditions of those injured.
The New London Police Department continued to investigate while crews worked to clear the roadway and restore normal traffic flow in the area.
