Hartford, CT – Car Hits Pedestrian at Franklin Ave & Bond St, Serious Leg Injury

Hartford, CT (October 31, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries on Thursday, October 30, after being struck by a car at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Bond Street in Hartford. The crash occurred around 2:59 p.m., prompting a rapid response from the Departamento de Polícia de Hartford and emergency medical crews.

Officials reported that the pedestrian was conscious but appeared to have sustained a broken leg or ankle. Paramedics treated the individual at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for additional care. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police temporarily restricted traffic in the area as officers documented evidence and interviewed witnesses. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
