What Evidence Is Important in a Hit-and-Run Investigation in Connecticut?
After a hit-and-run crash in Connecticut, strong evidence plays a key role in identifying the driver and understanding what happened. Important evidence includes photos of the scene, vehicle damage, witness statements, and any available video footage. These details can help piece together events when one party leaves the scene.
Photos and videos often capture critical information such as skid marks, debris, and the position of the vehicles. Surveillance footage from nearby homes or businesses may also help identify the vehicle that fled. Witnesses can provide descriptions of the car, driver behavior, or the direction the vehicle traveled after the crash.
Injury crashes like head-on collisions can lead to a range of physical effects. People may experience neck pain, back injuries, or head trauma, even if symptoms seem mild at first. Medical evaluations help document these injuries and connect them to the accident, which can be important during recovery and any related claims.
