Hartford, CT (December 14, 2025) – A violent hit-and-run crash left one person seriously injured on Saturday, December 13, on Main Street in Hartford. The collision happened around 11:01 p.m. and involved a tow truck and another vehicle that fled the scene before police arrived.
Emergency crews arrived within minutes. When first responders reached the area, they found the tow truck badly damaged in the roadway. Paramedics treated the injured individual at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
Firefighters and police officers stayed at the scene for several hours, clearing the wreckage and collecting evidence. Investigators believe the fleeing driver’s vehicle may also have been damaged and are reviewing surveillance footage to identify them.
