The crash occurred around 5:26 p.m. in the area of 281 Locust Street, according to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hartfordct.gov\/Government\/Departments\/Fire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hartford Fire Department.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene and found the rider suffering from injuries. Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance before transporting the individual to a local hospital for further evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Authorities said the collision occurred when the Jeep turned into a business entrance and hit the scooter traveling nearby. The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with responding officers.
