The crash occurred around 8:35 a.m., during one of the busiest morning travel periods in East Hartford.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.easthartfordct.gov\/fire-department\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">East Hartford Fire Department<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> crews arrived, they found one person trapped inside a heavily damaged vehicle. Firefighters worked quickly to stabilize the car and remove the trapped occupant. Paramedics assisted as soon as the individual was freed, providing medical attention and preparing the patient for transport.
