Hartford, CT (December 1, 2025) – <\/b>A woman suffered life-threatening injuries on Sunday, November 30, after a hit-and-run crash on Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford. <\/span>Pol\u00edcia de Hartford<\/span><\/a> said the collision happened near Mannz Street at about 5:17 p.m. Officers responded to reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian and arrived to find a woman in her 50s lying in the roadway.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paramedics treated her at the scene and then rushed her to a hospital. Police listed her in critical condition. Investigators said she had been crossing Wethersfield Avenue when two vehicles hit her. The first driver returned to the scene and is cooperating with officers. The second driver fled before police arrived.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hartford\u2019s Crime Scene Division took control of the area and began a detailed investigation. Crews documented the roadway, looked for physical evidence, and interviewed witnesses. Police have not released a description of the fleeing vehicle or said why the driver left. They are now working to identify and locate the person responsible.<\/span><\/p>\n
