Enfield, CT (January 27, 2026) \u2013<\/b><\/strong> On Tuesday, January 27, authorities identified the woman who died after a rear-end crash on Monday afternoon on Interstate 91 South in Enfield. Officials confirmed the victim as 38-year-old Sabria Hardy of Bloomfield.<\/p>\n

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on January 26, near Exit 46, according to the Pol\u00edcia Estadual de Connecticut<\/u><\/a>. Reports show that Hardy\u2019s Mitsubishi was stopped in an undetermined lane after an earlier crash with an Acura. Both vehicles were stationary when a southbound Jeep struck the Acura from behind.<\/p>\n

Investigators said Hardy was inside the Acura at the time of the collision. Paramedics rushed her to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, where she later died. The Acura\u2019s driver was hospitalized for minor injuries, while the Jeep\u2019s driver refused medical treatment at the scene.<\/p>\n
