Norwich, CT (June 15, 2026) \u2013<\/b> Three people were hurt Friday morning after a three-vehicle crash on Salem Turnpike in Norwich left one person trapped inside a vehicle. The accident was reported at approximately 10:51 a.m. near 109 Salem Turnpike by <\/span>Norwich Fire Department<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responders arrived within minutes and began patient care and stabilization. One person had to be freed from a truck after crews removed the driver’s door to extract them. Two additional people in a separate vehicle were also treated at the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not clear the circumstances that led to the wreck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The collision remains under investigation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
