Car Accidents in Connecticut
Car accidents remain one of the leading causes of serious injuries in Connecticut. Highways like I-91 see some of the most devastating crashes due to high speeds, sudden lane changes, and split-second decisions behind the wheel. Even a moment of distraction can cause a violent impact that changes lives forever.
Neck and back injuries are among the most common consequences of highway collisions. These injuries often require extensive medical treatment, months of physical therapy, and significant time away from work. Many victims also experience emotional trauma and financial stress during their recovery.
If you were injured in a car accident, you may be entitled to compensation. This can cover:
- Medical Expenses: Victims may recover costs for emergency treatment, surgeries, hospital care, and physical therapy.
- Lost Income: Compensation can cover missed wages and reduced earning potential caused by the injuries.
- Pain and Suffering: Victims may receive payment for physical pain, emotional trauma, and a diminished quality of life.
- Rehabilitation Costs: Compensation can include support for therapy, mobility aids, and long-term recovery services.
- Future Care: Victims may be entitled to funding for future medical treatments, in-home care, and additional procedures.
