Manchester, CT (November 25, 2025) – A Connecticut State Police trooper suffered injuries after a crash on Interstate 84 in Manchester on Monday, November 24. The collision happened in the westbound lanes while the trooper sat inside a patrol cruiser parked on the right shoulder of the highway.
Connecticut State police said another vehicle struck the cruiser as it remained on the shoulder. The impact injured the trooper, whose crews were transported to a local hospital. Doctors reportedly listed the injuries as minor. The other driver also suffered injuries, and medical workers checked that person after the crash.
