Enfield, CT (October 29, 2025) – A 57-year-old man tragically lost his life following a crash that occurred late Tuesday morning, October 28, along Douglas Road in Enfield.
According to the Enfield Police Department, officers responded to the scene shortly after 10:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious accident. Emergency medical crews arrived within minutes and found the driver, identified as 57-year-old Michael Swart, suffering from severe injuries.
Paramedics transported Swart to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Despite lifesaving efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not released information regarding the crash.
