Enfield, CT (August 18, 2025) – A traffic accident near the interchange of Route 5 and I-190 in Enfield sent emergency responders to the scene Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported around 12:14 p.m., with initial dispatch notes indicating that at least one person had suffered a back injury. Paramedics provided on-site medical care before preparing the injured individual for further treatment.
Authorities have not yet released details on how many vehicles were involved or whether additional injuries occurred. Police and fire crews worked to secure the area and assist with traffic flow while medical teams attended to the patient.
