Enfield, CT (October 6, 2025) – A tragic accident on Saturday morning, October 4, claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman in Enfield.
According to Enfield Police, the crash happened around 9:43 a.m. at the intersection of Hazard Avenue and west of Middle Road. Investigators said a BMW SUV left the roadway, striking a pedestrian identified as Kimberly Knowles, 57, before crashing into a nearby building.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene. Paramedics transported Knowles to Baystate Medical Center, but doctors later pronounced her dead from her injuries. Authorities reported that the driver of the SUV was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
