New London, CT – Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries Near Briggs St & Norwood Ave

New London, CT (November 4, 2025) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Monday, November 3, near Briggs Street and Norwood Avenue, close to the I-95 northbound area in New London. The crash was reported around 4:37 a.m., according to local authorities.

First responders found one person unconscious at the scene and provided immediate medical care before transporting them to a nearby hospital. Additional victims were evaluated by paramedics for possible injuries. Police worked to secure the area and document the scene as crews cleared debris from the roadway.

Officials have not released details about the cause of the crash or the number of people involved. The incident caused brief traffic delays near the interstate as authorities conducted their investigation.
