Hartford, CT – Injury Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Accident at Ward St & Washington St

Hartford, CT (November 27, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered injuries after a hit-and-run crash in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon, November 25. The collision happened near the intersection of Ward Street and Washington Street. The Departamento de Policía de Hartford and emergency responders arrived soon after the report came in.

Officers said a white Chevrolet struck the pedestrian and then sped away from the scene. Paramedics treated the injured person and took them to a nearby hospital for continued care. Police did not release the pedestrian’s name or condition. They also have not shared the driver’s identity.

Witnesses at the scene told officers that the vehicle left right after the impact. Responders secured the area, looked for debris, and spoke with people who saw the crash. Investigators also began searching for cameras that may have captured the vehicle or its license plate.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to locate the driver.
