Windsor, CT – One Killed and Seven Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Windsor Ave & Rte 218

Windsor, CT (March 26, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash in Windsor left one person dead and several others injured on Wednesday afternoon, March 25, according to Windsor Police.

Emergency units responded around 2:32 p.m. to the intersection of Windsor Avenue and Route 218 after receiving reports of a serious accident. Responders arrived and located three vehicles involved in the crash.

Medical teams assessed the individuals at the scene and confirmed that one person had died from injuries sustained in the collision. Seven other people suffered injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Officials have not released the identities of the victims or the severity of the injuries reported. Crews remained at the scene while responders provided aid and documented the circumstances surrounding the crash.
