Evidence Families Should Preserve After a Fatal House Fire in Bloomfield, CT

After a fatal house fire, preserving key evidence can make a significant difference if legal questions arise later. As soon as it is safe and permitted to do so, families should photograph or video the exterior and interior of the home, including the area where the fire is believed to have started. Any appliances, wiring, or materials near the origin point should be documented before they are moved, discarded, or disturbed by repair crews.
