Hartford, CT – Student Hospitalized After Car Hits Them Near University of Hartford

Hartford, CT (November 11, 2025) – A student was hospitalized on November 10 after being struck by a vehicle near the entrance of the University of Hartford, according to police and university officials.

The incident occurred as the student was crossing a crosswalk near the university’s main entrance. Emergency medical crews arrived at the scene and transported the injured student to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Police confirmed the injuries were not life-threatening.

The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. The Policía de Hartford are investigating the circumstances of the crash to determine what led to the collision.
