Manchester, CT (October 30, 2025) – A woman sustained life-threatening injuries on Wednesday night, October 29, after being struck by a vehicle on Center Street in Manchester.
Según el Manchester Police Department, the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. as a car was traveling westbound along Center Street. Investigators said the woman, believed to be in her 30s, was hit while crossing the roadway. Emergency crews quickly arrived and provided immediate medical care before transporting her to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. Officers blocked part of the road while they examined the area, gathered witness statements, and documented evidence to determine what led to the crash.
Authorities have not yet released additional details about the victim’s condition, but she reportedly suffered serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. The investigation remains ongoing as police work to identify contributing factors such as visibility, speed, or distraction.
