Norwich, CT – One Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Washington St & W Side Blvd

Norwich, CT (October 24, 2025) – A multi-car collision left one person injured on Friday, October 24, at the intersection of Washington Street and West Side Boulevard in Norwich.

The crash involved four vehicles and caused serious damage along the roadway. Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of multiple people trapped and injured. Six people were involved in total. Five declined medical treatment, while one person complained of severe back and neck pain and required hospitalization.

Firefighters worked quickly to free a person trapped inside a car that had rolled onto its side. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before rushing them to a nearby hospital for further care.

Authorities remained at the scene for several hours, documenting evidence and speaking with witnesses to understand what caused the crash. The Departamento de Policía de Norwich is leading the investigation and will release updates as more information becomes available.
