Connecticut Car Accidents
Across Connecticut, car accidents remain a leading cause of serious injuries that can upend lives in an instant. From fractured bones and whiplash to concussions and long-term disabilities, even a “minor” collision can have lasting consequences for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. That’s why understanding both the risks and your legal rights is so important.
Common Causes of Serious Crashes in Connecticut
- Distracted or reckless driving: Cell phone use, speeding, and aggressive driving behaviors are frequent culprits.
- Hazardous road conditions: Ice, snow, rain, and poorly maintained roads increase accident risks.
- Congested areas: Intersections, highways, and high-traffic urban streets often see the highest crash rates.
- Lack of immediate medical care: Without prompt treatment, injuries can worsen or lead to long-term complications.
The Challenge of Determining Liability
Car crashes are rarely straightforward. Multiple drivers, conflicting insurance policies, or commercial vehicles can make proving fault difficult. Having experienced legal representation from the start is key to building a strong case, preserving critical evidence, and protecting your right to compensation.
