Hartford, CT(August 25, 2025) — Police have released the name of the motorcyclist who died following a crash in Hartford on Saturday night, August 23.
Authorities said the victim was 26-year-old Luis Jiminez Flores, of Hartford.
The collision happened around 8:08 p.m. near 738 Maple Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a blue Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike and its rider suffering from critical injuries. A white Lexus RX330 involved in the crash was also at the scene, with the driver remaining present, police said.
Flores was taken by ambulance to Hartford Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Hartford Police Department’s Crime Scene Division is leading the ongoing investigation.
