New London, CT (September 25, 2025) – A two-car collision took place early Thursday morning, September 25, on the northbound side of the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in New London. Police, firefighters, and EMS rushed to the scene after the accident was reported around 4:12 a.m.
Officials confirmed that at least one person sustained serious injuries and required advanced life support before being transported to a nearby hospital. Two additional individuals were evaluated at the site, but declined further treatment.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved, and the New London Police Department continues to work to determine what caused the crash.
