Multi-Vehicle Accidents in Connecticut
Multi-vehicle accidents, especially those involving school buses, raise unique concerns for parents, children, and the community. While buses are generally safe, their size and limited maneuverability make them dangerous when accidents occur. Busy intersections in Connecticut see heavy traffic, which can increase the risk of multi-vehicle collisions.
Victims of accidents involving multiple vehicles may face a variety of injuries, from minor cuts to long-term medical conditions. Even when injuries appear minor, medical treatment is often necessary to prevent long-term complications.
Those injured in school bus accidents may be entitled to compensation through a personal injury claim. Possible damages can include:
- Medical expenses – Coverage for emergency care, hospital stays, medication, and ongoing treatment.
- Lost wages – Compensation for time missed from work due to injury or recovery.
- Pain and suffering – Financial recovery for physical pain, emotional trauma, and stress caused by the accident.
- Rehabilitation costs – Payment for physical therapy or occupational therapy needed to regain mobility and independence.
- Property damage – Compensation for repairs or replacement of damaged vehicles.
Because multiple parties may be involved—including drivers, bus companies, or municipalities—determining liability can be complex. Working with an experienced car accident attorney helps ensure that victims understand their rights and pursue fair compensation.
