Preston, CT (July 25, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on Route 2 sent five people to the hospital on Wednesday evening, July 23, according to local fire officials.
The incident, which involved four vehicles, occurred near the intersection of Route 2 and Shewville Road shortly before 5:30 p.m. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported five individuals to nearby hospitals. At this time, those involved have not been identified as police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
The crash temporarily closed Route 2 in the area, but the roadway has since been reopened to traffic. Authorities have not released any further details at this time.
