Wrong-Way Crashes in Connecticut

Wrong-way crashes are among the most dangerous types of car accidents. These collisions often happen at highway speeds, leaving victims with severe or even fatal injuries. In Connecticut, wrong-way driving has become a growing safety concern, especially on busy routes.

Common consequences of wrong-way crashes include:

  • Rollover accidents – When a car flips, passengers face a much higher risk of spine injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and broken bones.
  • Head-on collisions – These impacts transfer the greatest force directly to drivers and front-seat passengers, often resulting in catastrophic injuries.
  • Multiple-vehicle crashes – Wrong-way drivers frequently collide with more than one car, compounding the number of victims and the severity of damage.

Victims injured in wrong-way crashes may face medical bills, lost wages, and long recovery times. With the help of an experienced Connecticut car accident attorney, victims can pursue compensation for emergency medical care and hospital bills, rehabilitation and long-term treatment, lost income and reduced earning ability, as well as pain, suffering, and emotional trauma.
