Connecticut Car Accidents

In Connecticut, car accidents are an unfortunate daily reality, upending lives, causing painful injuries, and leaving many families overwhelmed by medical bills and uncertainty. With heavily traveled roads like I-95, I-84, and Route 2, combined with unpredictable weather and congested urban centers, crashes occur with alarming frequency. From minor rear-end collisions in suburban neighborhoods to high-speed highway wrecks, no part of the state is immune.

Many of these accidents share common causes—dangerous driving behaviors that put others at risk:

  • Distracted Driving: Whether it’s texting, eating, or tinkering with the navigation system, distractions can be deadly. Just a moment of inattention is all it takes to change someone’s life forever.
  • Driving Under the Influence: Alcohol- and drug-impaired drivers remain a serious threat on Connecticut roads. These crashes are preventable—and the outcomes often tragic.
  • Speeding: Excess speed reduces a driver’s ability to react and increases the severity of injuries. It’s one of the most frequent contributors to serious and fatal collisions statewide.

If you’ve been hurt in a crash due to someone else’s negligence, you deserve answers and compensation for the challenges you’re now facing.
