Norwich, CT (October 20, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Sunday, October 19, in Norwich left one person injured near the intersection of New London Turnpike and Route 362, according to local authorities.
Norwich Police said the crash occurred around 5:19 a.m. and involved a blue Nissan Sentra and another blue vehicle. Responding officers found both cars with visible damage. One person inside the passenger vehicle complained of arm pain after the collision.
Paramedics arrived shortly after to provide medical care and evaluate the injured individual. Communication between responders and the injured person proved challenging due to a language barrier, but emergency personnel ensured the victim received proper attention before transporting them to a nearby hospital.
Authorities are continuing to investigate what caused the crash and whether factors such as speed, distraction, or failure to yield contributed to the collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and no other injuries were reported.
La investigación continúa en curso.
We wish the injured person a quick and full recovery.
