Norwich, CT (October 29, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries Monday evening, October 27, after being hit by a pickup truck traveling eastbound on Route 2 near Thunder Donuts in Norwich.

According to reports from the Norwich Fire Department, the crash occurred around 6:25 p.m. when a pickup truck struck the pedestrian under unclear circumstances. The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage, indicating the force of the impact.
