Preston, CT (October 30, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries Monday evening, October 27, after a pickup truck struck them on Route 2 near the Preston–Norwich line.
According to the Connecticut State Police, the crash occurred around 6:28 p.m. The pickup truck, which sustained heavy front-end damage, fled the scene immediately after hitting the pedestrian.
