Our Response to the Coronavirus and COVID19
Lawyer Twillie
First, our clients should know that we are still here for you. Thanks to the forward thinking high-tech approach our firm has taken, we were already equipped to fully work from home in response to Coronavirus and COVID19. Consequently, we’ve been conducting intake and other client interactions via telephone and teleconference to service our clients. We will continue to protect our clients’ legal interests with the zeal and dedication that we’ve always had.
This means that our legal specialists are still available for virtual case evaluations 24 hours a day. Furthermore, our team is fully capable of handling all aspects of your case via phone, email, and video conferencing.  For everyone’s safety, we are only offering in-person consultations with confirmed scheduled appointments at this time.
Please note the following significant changes in response to Coronavirus and COVID19 at this time:
Although our office is currently discouraging in-person meetings, our employees have access to your file and to each other. Therefore, we are available to work on your case remotely, without limitations.
Many Courts in Connecticut are closing for hearings and trials because of Coronavirus and COVID19. When they re-open, we will update you.
We’ve been notified by several defense firms and insurance companies that their offices are closing. Thus, they are not currently able to communicate on some matters. Please be patient with us as we work with those impacted firms and insurance carriers.
Many meetings, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, and trial settings are currently canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. We will let you know in advance of any cancellations requiring rescheduling.
Please note that our entire team will continue to vigorously advance your claims and cases throughout this period. Nevertheless, we would ask for your patience over the next several weeks in the event of delays in responding to emails, phone calls, etc. We understand you may have questions or concerns about your cases, treatment, etc. We WILL respond to all clients’ questions and concerns, but please bear with us as we work through this unusual and difficult time period. If you have an urgent situation and have not heard back from your normal point of contact after a reasonable amount of time, please contact our Help Team at help@lalawct.com.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time, and we wish you and your families good health and safety.
